The Grands Prix Du Design, a renowned design award in North America, was established in Montreal in 2007. Initially, it was open only to companies in Quebec, Canada, but the 14th edition in 2021 began accepting entries from around the world.
The event is organized by the team behind the 30 - year - old SIDIM Montreal International Design Exhibition and the Intrieurs design magazine.
Every year, nearly 70 top professionals, renowned scholars, and influential media figures from around the globe assess the excellence of the projects and products submitted to the Grands Prix Du Design, drawing on their knowledge, experience, and expertise.
